ART  STATION

Kids will have a chance to color, paint and make simple crafts all with a "green" theme!

There will also be a number of children's books available to read about recycling, conservation, etc.

Art Contest: Art Contestants are separated into the three categories below- submitted artwork will be on display at the Fair.
 

 Ages 5-9 :  Color (not draw) a picture of an endangered animal. Go to  First-School Preschool Activities and Crafts or http://www.kidsplanet.org to find a picture, or choose your own! You may use crayons and/or markers. Deadline for entries is April 25, 2008
First Prize will be an art basket filled with many great art supplies!
 

Ages 10-13:  Color a picture of the important environmental theme of recycling or conservation. Write your own environmental message on the top or bottom of the picture. Use the websites listed above for help.
First Prize for this category is a $20 gift card to Target
 

Ages 14-18:  Entries must be in painting or drawing and must focus on the theme of "Earth Matters". Contestants may create an entry on any environmental theme, and will be judged on a clear environmental message, creative ideas, and outstanding art work. Entries may be no larger than 22 x 28 Deadline is May 1, 2008 Use the mailing address listed above for submissions.
First Prize is cash in the amount of $50
